Charleston, step back in time

Traveling to Charleston, is a journey back in time. To an era of double wrap around porches, cobblestone streets, horse carriages, gas lanterns and a genuine friendly atmosphere. In fact, Conde Nast Traveler just declared Charleston the friendliest city in america
http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/06/travel/us-unfriendliest-friendliest-cities/ We experienced this first hand when we had to rush away early at a restaurant after having coffees. Expecting to pay, the waitress just waved us on. Pretty cool.

Touring around Sullivan’s Island, the sky starting to turn a deep red as the sun was setting. We rushed to the south end of the island that overlooks the Ravenal Bridge into Charleston. Fortunately, there was an access point to the water as this is mostly private property. This was the view awaiting us….
